Behind The Scenes.

So, You want to learn more on how i made this site, well then let's go back to the beginning. A few years ago, when i was in this site called 'subrocks', i met blinchik over there, who had a website on neocities when making a site there was cool.
I though that was the coolest shit ever and wanted to do it, but back then i didn't feel like learning how to code to make a site like that, and also i lost interest eventually. In 2024, i discovered that blin updated his site(very rare), and went from using neocities to nekoweb, and thanks to that i eventually got that itch back.

I started grabbing a bunch of other sites as references for what i could make for the site, i took some inspiration from Pendulum's, NOISIA, and EA sites, to make the site the way it is (althought not much was mantained from those references).

Then when i got some ideas, i started with a draft of sorts in gimp, i was also learning how to somewhat use gimp a little bit more, so making the draft came in pretty nice to practice gimp more.

This is the earliest draft i have on my pc, it looks very rough, yes, but it was a start, for some time i was planning on adding a banner with random images,
but as i progressed, i didn't know where to put it, so it got scrapped, it could see a potential come back though.

And after some time of messing around and brainstorming, i ended up with this, which i consider to be start of how the site would end up looking like, still rough though.

Originally i had plans on making multiple background that you could change, and i got as far as making 2 different backgrounds, but it got scrapped.

The last changes i made before i started making the site, there are a few differences here and there, but it looks a lot more similar to the final product, like having the marquee with random quotes, it's the red bar at the top.

And then i started learning html and css to start making the site a reality, and when people say that html and css is easy, they really mean it.

Here's a screenshot of the home page being completed, as you can see the site looks pretty much the same as the current one, but the assets look a lot less, finished let's say,
I was planning to release the site without the goodies site being made, but i decided to add it in the end so that people have a reason to look around at least.

After making the home page, i made the other pages, and after finishing them, i started redoing some of the assets used in the site to make it look better.
If you want to know what kind of aesthetic i went with, let's it was a combination of me messing around on gimp at the very beginning and NFS Most Wanted gritty and industrial art style (The best art style i've seen in nfs imo).
